These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of thevocalproject.com (the “Website”) and all purchases made through it.
By accessing or purchasing from our Website, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
If you do not agree, please do not use The Vocal Project.

1. Terminology

In these Terms:

  • “You”, “Your”, “Customer” refers to the person accessing the Website and/or purchasing our products.

  • “We”, “Us”, “Our”, “The Vocal Project” refers to the operators of thevocalproject.com.

  • “Products” refers to all vocals, instrumentals, and related materials sold through our Website.

  • “Agreement” refers to the contract between You and The Vocal Project formed upon purchase.

By using our Website, you consent to our use of cookies in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

3. Intellectual Property & Ownership

All content, including vocals, instrumentals, text, images, audio, and design elements on The Vocal Project, is protected by copyright and owned by The Vocal Project or its licensors.

Purchasing a product grants you a license to use the material — not ownership of the underlying copyright.
All rights not expressly granted to you under these Terms remain the exclusive property of The Vocal Project.

4. License Types

When purchasing from The Vocal Project, you may choose one of the following license types:

A. Exclusive License

  • The vocal or instrumental is sold once only.

  • The buyer gains exclusive rights to use the material in unlimited projects.

  • The product will be permanently removed from our catalog after purchase.

  • You may commercially release, remix, adapt, and distribute your new work worldwide.

  • You receive 100% of all royalties and earnings from your new song.

  • The license cannot be resold or transferred.

B. Limited License (5 Copies)

  • The vocal or instrumental will be sold to a maximum of five (5) different buyers.

  • Each buyer receives a non-transferable commercial license to use the material in one or more songs.

  • You may distribute, monetize, and perform your new song without limitation.

  • The Vocal Project reserves the right to sell up to 4 additional copies of the same product.

  • The license cannot be resold, shared, or sublicensed.

C. Non-Exclusive License

  • The vocal or instrumental may be sold to multiple buyers.

  • You are granted rights to use the product in your music projects for commercial and non-commercial purposes.

  • The license is non-transferable and cannot be resold, shared, or sublicensed.

  • You retain 100% of the royalties from your new song.

5. Prohibited Uses

You may not:

  • Resell, redistribute, or share the original files.

  • Claim authorship or copyright over the original recording or instrumental.

  • Upload or distribute the raw files (isolated vocals/instrumentals) on any digital platform.

  • Use our products in any way that violates copyright law or Swedish/European regulations.

6. Delivery

After successful payment, your purchased files will be delivered as download links via email or your account page.
All products are delivered in high-quality audio formats (e.g. WAV).
Ensure that you enter a valid email address during checkout.

7. Refund Policy

We offer a 30 day refund policy. However, we do our best to ensure that no refunds have to be made.

If you experience technical issues accessing your files, please contact us at support@thevocalproject.com for assistance.

8. User Comments and Content

  • You are responsible for the content you post.

  • Your comments must not violate intellectual property laws or contain offensive material.

  • By posting, you grant The Vocal Project a non-exclusive right to display and use your content on our Website and social media.

9. Linking to Our Website

You may link to The Vocal Project’s homepage or product pages, provided that:

  • The link is not misleading,

  • It does not imply endorsement by The Vocal Project, and

  • It fits the context of your site.

Use of our logo or branding requires prior written consent.

10. Content Liability

We are not responsible for the content appearing on third-party websites that link to or from The Vocal Project.
You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from any claims arising from your misuse of our materials or Website.

11. Privacy

Your privacy is important to us.
Please read our Privacy Policy for information about how we collect, use, and protect your personal data.

12. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to update or modify these Terms and Conditions at any time.
Changes will take effect immediately upon posting on our Website.
By continuing to use The Vocal Project, you accept any revised Terms.

13. Limitation of Liability

The Vocal Project provides all products “as is” without any warranties.
We are not responsible for:

  • Any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages,

  • Loss of profit, reputation, or data,

  • Technical issues that may affect website access or downloads.

Nothing in these Terms limits our liability for fraud, gross negligence, or personal injury under applicable Swedish law.

14. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of Sweden.
Any disputes arising from or in connection with this Agreement shall be resolved under the exclusive jurisdiction of Swedish courts.

15. Use of AI (Artificial Intelligence)

You are strictly forbidden from using any vocals from this site to:

  • Train, clone, or replicate the vocals or instrumentals from The Vocal Project using AI or machine learning tools.

  • Extract stems or isolate elements using AI for the purpose of voice synthesis, voice conversion, or revoicing.

  • Create new works that mimic or artificially reproduce The Vocal Project’s vocals or instrumentals

We actively monitor for AI misuse. If any vocals from this site are found to be used in AI tools or outputs without explicit permission, we will issue takedown notices immediately and may pursue legal action.

16. Payment & Delivery 

All payments are securely processed through Shopify, our third-party e-commerce platform. By making a purchase on The Vocal Project, you agree that Shopify will handle your payment processing, billing information, and order delivery. The files you purchase (vocals and instrumentals) will be delivered to you via the confirmation page and/or email after your payment is successfully processed.
