FAQ
What is the difference between an exclusive vocal and a non-exclusive vocal?
Exclusive vocals can only be purchased by one customer and they thereby own the license to the track. Non-exclusive vocals can be bought by multiple people and therefore used in multiple releases with different producers. Song-starters are shorter and usually only include about 12 bars of the “hook” and are also exclusive.
What is included in the purchase?
Everything you hear. All purchases on our website include 3 dry takes as well as at least one harmony (left and right). They also include wet vocals stems as well as instrumental stems. Also included in the files are the mastered versions of the full track as well as a lyric sheet.
Why is there a “disclaimer” on some of the tracks?
We want you to know what to expect with each purchase. The songs that are marked with a disclaimer indicate that the original key and BPM of the song (the key and BPM that the vocals were recorded in) are not the same as the track you hear on the website. This means that the vocals have been edited and manipulated in order to fit in with the instrumental track. The “dry” vocals and “wet” vocals will therefore have different BPMs and/or keys in these specific purchases
Do I own the publishing?
Yes. We do not require a publishing split on any of the tracks you purchase.
Do I get to keep the royalties?
Yes — 100% yours.
You get to keep everything you earn from streams, downloads, performances, or licensing your finished song.
We don’t take a cut or claim any publishing share.
Are song-starters exclusive?
Yes. Song-starters can only be purchased once.
How will I get my files?
Right after you buy, your download link will appear on the order confirmation page — and we’ll also send them straight to your email.
No waiting, no shipping — instant access to your files.
What are limited tracks?
Limited tracks can only be sold to five customers to minimise the overuse of that vocal. This means the price is higher but the rights are the same as a non-exclusive vocal.
Can I return a track?
Yes. We have a 30 day return policy if you are not happy with the stems. If you return the track you are not allowed to use any of the stems that were included in the files you received with the purchase. If there are any problems with the stems you download please contact us and we will try to get any issues sorted to ensure no return has to be made.
Can I release a track that I have purchased “as is”?
With Exclusive tracks, yes. With non-exclusive vocals, however, you are not the only one with those exact stems and therefore do not own the files. With non-exclusive tracks adding your own creativity is necessary.
Are there any restrictions with the purchases?
Yes.You may not re-sell or use any of the stems downloaded to create a sample pack with any of our non-exclusive products. More information regarding your rights can be found under “License” at the bottom of the page.
